If you have questions, or you're confused about the numerous boards on this forum, just ask.

Once you get used to the new system, you'll just love it! But it takes time getting comfortable with the lay-out so don't hesitate asking questions if you're having problems getting started.

It's early Sunday morning here in the Land Downunder - gonna grab some coffee and have a good look round the new place!!

One comment/question: The times of people's posts don't automatically adjust to the reader's local time like msn does (eg CZ's original post on this thread says it was posted today at 2.57pm. It's today (LOL) at 8.15am where I am - so it's very confusing! I knew CZ was ahead of her time LOL, but now she's also ahead of mine!

I am at that age where I'm easily confused! Is there a solution?

Hi Sydney!

For security reasons, the times of posts are intentionally inaccurate. I felt it was best to offer as much privacy to members as possible. Maybe that's too confusing for people, I dunno!!! Any thoughts about that?

Well, CZ, I don't know how much it matters in the overall scheme of things - maybe I've just become accustomed to seeing the correct time on people's posts and so it seems important. Once I get it into my head that the times mean nothing, it probably won't be important!

I'll let you know down the track LOL.

Yes. There are little butterflies on the left side of each category. IF the butterfly is BLUE, that means there's a new message on the board. If the butterfly is brown, there are no new topics or messages on that particular board.

You can also look on the right-side of the screen to see who recently posted a message on that board.

There's also another feature members can use: notification by email. I can check the settings to see if this feature has been activated. If the entire message is sent by email, that violates WoN's code of privacy. But if you only receive notification about a reply, that would be permissible. I'll check the settings and get back to you. Maybe you can let me know exactly what's contained in 'email notification'. I'd appreciate it!

It took awhile to find it, but voila:

Go to MY PROFILE (kitty cat image on the Index)

A menu shows up on the left-side of your screen.

In the category Modify Profile, click on NOTIFICATIONS AND EMAIL

You can adjust your settings on this page

Be sure to click SAVE SETTINGS

IF you don't want to recieve email notifications in the future, return to your profile and undo everything you just did.

Excellent site. There is a lot of excellent reading on this site and I have just spent a couple of hours doing just that, with many more to go. Sometimes I still can't believe what I have experienced and am still experiencing. I love the fact that I can now print some of this material off and hang it up for me to read and let it sink right in to my brain. This is just one of the good things about moving out and moving onwards and upwards.

I so much appreciate all the work you have done to keep us going CZ and family and friends, to keep us sane in mind, body and spirit.
