In the beginning, having so many boards to read might be overwhelming. Well, we aren't trying to
raise people's anxiety levels when logging-in to our website. So here's a neat trick to reduce the distraction until you feel more comfortable.
Collapsing & Expanding Categories
Several CATEGORIES are listed on the forum's Homepage. For example: Salutations; Information; Validation; Integration; etc.
Next to the title of the category is a small blue box with a
+ or - sign. If you click on the
- sign, the category will collapse the message boards from view. This is not permanent. All you have to do is reclick on the
+ sign and the category expands to show all the message boards again. For those who feel slightly overwhelmed and uncertain about where to start posting, I would suggest:
1-Logging-in to the site so all the boards are visible to you as a member.
2-Scrolling down the page and collapsing selected categories you might not be interested in reading at this point. Remember: you can always always expand those categories when you're more familiar with our website.
3-The
General Message Board for this website is in the
Validation Category. Try collapsing other categories and only leaving the Validation section open.
4-When you log-out, this arrangement is set automatically. The next time you log-in to WoN, you will only see the boards within the selected Categories.
5-As you become comfortable with the lay-out, you can roam around the WoN farm at your pleasure---without getting lost.
