The WoN forum is a public and 'free' website which is why it's neccesary to enforce strict guidelines on income-generating links. WoN managers will revoke the membership of anyone using the WoN forum to promote personal products or services.
Joining the WoN community in order to sell a product or service is considered SPAMMING. WoN administrators do not tolerate SPAM on a message board any better than SPAM on the table---even when it's grilled in brown sugar and mixed with pineapple. So be forewarned: Commercial links or other income-generating links will be deleted at board moderators' discretion.
1-Adding a commercial website address to your personal signature will be grounds for termination.
2-Active members with Survivor Status may link his-or-her blog to a personal signature, if the blog's subject matter is in accordance with WoN policy. We welcome blogsites discussing personal healing, pathological disorders, 12-step recovery, the spiritual journey, etc. A good rule of thumb for what's acceptable and what isn't? If we don't talk about it on WoN, don't link it.
3-You may not post links to your website if it is commercially based. This does not include minimal reimbursements such as google ads or bookstore affiliations (for example). If you're selling a service or promoting a product, rent your own webspace or buy a billboard.
4-Managers reserve the right to edit messages containing links to websites that are not in compliance with WoN guidelines. If you have any questions about the appropriateness of an article or website , please email CZBZ at
