We know how overwhelming it is to start writing about your life, most likely for the first time. Our emotions are finally being expressed in words and we feel as though we'll lose the next thought if we pause long enough to take a breath.
But please, for the sake of your peers, separate a lengthy message with paragraph breaks. A long, long story without breaks between thoughts may be overlooked by those who CARE about your experience and would like to offer support if they can. Consider your peers. Use punctuation and paragraph breaks.
1-Board moderators will use their discretion to edit long posts. They will insert adequate punctuation to facilitate readership without changing the words in the original message. Adding paragraph breaks to your message facilitates readability and encourages board members' responses.
2-We extend a grace period to all 'newbies' starting their healing journey on WoN. If you are upset, say what you need to say even if you're too anxious to add punctuation. We understand. We've been there, too.
Love,
Charlotte
