Don't LAUGH!
First off, I've yet to figure out how to quote members from their last post and have it show up in the blue box.
Secondly, is it possible to change the font size and if it is, now do I do it? I've tried and it seems to stay the same.
It's the little things that throw me...lol

If you click the
'quote' feature on someone's message, a reply window opens and their entire message is quoted. I used the Quote feature on your message to illustrate how it works. Now quoting someone's entire text may work fine for a brief message, but it's probably not what most people want to do. So here's another way to quote a
portion of someone's message without reposting the entire text:
1-Highlight the words you would like to 'quote' from someone's message and copy them to your mouse. (To
copy the highlighted text, click ctrl + C).
2-Call up a new message window by clicking the REPLY tab on the bottom rightside of the message thread.
3-On the new message box, click the 'Quote Icon'. It's a yellow 'thought bubble' and it's situated next to the last icon on the bottom row.
4-Paste the copied text
in-between the brackets appearing on your reply. (To paste the copied text, click ctrl + V). I guess that's V for Vaste.

5- Test your new skill by clicking on PREVIEW at the bottom of the reply window.
Alternative method:
1-Highlight the words you would like to 'quote' from someone's message and copy them to your mouse. (To
copy the highlighted text, click ctrl + C).
2-Call up a new message window by clicking the REPLY tab on the bottom rightside of the message thread.
3-Paste the copied text in the message window by clicking ctrl + V.
4-Highlight the pasted text again
5-Click the Quote Icon at the top of the message window and it will automatically FRAME the highlighted text.
This forum has a neat way for tracking prior messages even while posting a reply. At the bottom of the message window is a transcript of the entire thread. You can return to prior messages and copy another portion of someone's message.
Okay, I won't. Promise!

I'm glad people are asking questions instead of just Giving Up in frustration. If you want to see more 'space' between the quote and the blue box such as I just did with "Don't Laugh", follow the above steps. When the brackets are added to the quote on your message box, use your ENTER key to skip a couple of rows before and after the quotation. Do that by inserting your cursor right after the first set of brackets and the quote. Then go to the end of the quote and use your ENTER key to insert a couple more spaces between the phrase and the brackets.
Click PREVIEW.
The first set of brackets look like this: []
The second set of brackets
always look like this: [/]
In between those brackets are Commands that vary according to what you're trying to do. For quotes, the command is inserted between the brackets: 'quote'. If you want to use Bold text, the command is 'b'. For italics, the command is 'i'.
In order to end any command however, the bracket must include a 'slash': [/]. I'll repost these instructions on a separate message and address your question about increasing font size, too.
Good Luck!
