  • loved2much: After 6 months he calls me to tell me that he never cheated with another woman and yes when I told him to get his shite out of my home because I was tired of supporting him and is abuse he connects with one of his students a property manager that now he has a girl friend with two kids and he hopes I find love again..  I told him to enjoy his life. and thanks for calling me.

Divorce: real estate and IRAs

I'm posting this in the correct forum so please feel free to move .

I read some fabulous advice on this site about things to get in order before filing for a divorce.
One fabulous piece of advice was to get a credit report for the spouse you are divorcing.

I just wanted to share (for what it's worth) that my x bought real estate with an IRA account. That way, his name didn't show up anywhere. Even my attorney was surprised (impressed) by that one.
I can post a link about these particular I.R.A.'s if anyone is interested in knowing more.
Once the home was purchased, the other woman and her children were moved in and nothing showed up in x's name.

Yes, please give  info on the IRA's. I am very interested, as I cannot find where N's money is reall going.

My ex N wanted to give me said house as part of our divorce agreement...he knew full well that under the stipulations of the IRA I could not live in the house (as I'd then be the owner of the IRA)

What a devious and clever web they weave .
