It is very healing to think about going thru your day...to actually think it thru...not just make it thru... but with conscious thought about your actions and how they effect other people... good or bad... and to reflect on doing the simplest things with love in your heart.  It helped teach me to stay in the moment....not worry about the future ... but keep this moment sacred.  And the next moment.... And the next... add them up and you have a wonderfully sacred day filled with love.  how can that NOT be healing?

~I have been fascinated lately with studying the formation of Christianity, in other words, how the early churches were...~

SEFG and Jude, do you know the book: A history of God? By Karen Armstrong... quite a read... very enlightening research... sometimes a bit difficult but if this topic interests you: "a must read"!


"All the great traditions are saying the same thing in much the same way, despite their surface differences." They each have in common, she says, an emphasis on the transcendent importance of compassion, as epitomized in the so-called Golden Rule: Do not do to others what you would not have done to you.

On being awarded the $100,000 TED Prize in February 2008, Armstrong called for a council of Christian, Muslim, and Jewish leaders to draw up a Charter for Compassion which would identify shared moral priorities in order to foster global understanding in the spirit of the Golden Rule.
