Wow. Sounds like the guy deserved what he had coming to him. Him looking at that bullshit is disgusting and angers me like you wouldn't believe - I have a VERY strong stance against pornography; I feel it is exactly the same as physically cheating. To me, cheating in the mind is as reprehensible as cheating in the flesh.

And on top of that, he sounded like an abusive horror to live with.

The sad thing is, she shouldn't have risked throwing her life away on someone so worthless. Because of this piece of crap scum she was married to, she could be behind bars and away from her children. I wonder if they reached a decision yet since this happened in March? I would think so by now..I hope for her sake, they had mercy on her and tried to understand what she must have been going through living with a man like that.

I agree with you Sugar, there is nothing more disrespectful a man can do to the women in his life (wife, girlfriend, neice, sister, grandaughter, or daughter) than use porn. And frankly I think that is the appeal. It is a way to "strip" women of dignity and make men feel comparatively better about themselves.

She was found guilty of murder and sentenced to life in prison. Truly it is a shame that she wasted the last years of her life on that scumbag.

Yes, you are definitely right, Litha. And not only that, the glorification of porn with it's fake airbrushed pictures make a lot of women feel like crap about themselves. When I see the media glorify the garbage and even found it on my own father (regardless of my NM having NPD, I was and am on her side in that - she had every right to rage and torment him when she found it on him not once, but THREE times - one of those times, me being the one to find it first on the family computer and keeping it to myself for a month before my NM found it herself because I didn't know what to do. Took me a long time to forgive my dad for that), it makes me feel inadequate myself since I don't have giant boobs or blonde hair. I am trying to get over that and I think I am getting MUCH better with it, since even typing it sounds stupid to me. Why should I be envious of something fake and cheap looking? One way I started feeling much better about it was looking up the actual lowlives that put themselves in that garbage on Wikipedia (they only show head shots thank God, LOL) and seeing how REGULAR looking and below average looking the majority of them look. One can clearly see how airbrushed the pictures in the media are and how hard looking these women all look.

Wow, I thought they'd give her some leniency for committing a "crime of passion" and if she could prove the abuse somehow. What a shame.

Took me a long time to forgive my dad for that), it makes me feel inadequate myself since I don't have giant boobs or blonde hair.

As a young woman I was naturally blonde with naturally giant boobs, but I still hated porn BECAUSE of how it made ME look. Even men who did not know me made assumptions based upon my looks, and because of porn many men see young women with "well endowed" chests as public property. As if that automatically made me their plaything and I had no right to withold "it" from them  =msn mad=

Some of the porn I found exN had looked at (using MY computer no less) jokingly compared young women's airbrushed naked bodies to middle aged women's NOTairbrushed bodies, equating the young women to expensive sport cars and the older women to rusted, dented junkers. I was horrified, how could he think that was funny? What kind of MONSTER thinks that is amusing when he himself is middle-aged and paunchy? JERK!!!

Yes, I sympathize totally with the woman in this case.

Wow, the freaking nerve on him to use YOUR computer. What a piece of sh*t.

And my God, I didn't think porn existed that made mockeries/jokes of real women. =msn shocked= That just makes no sense to me. It's bad enough to objectify women like in the airbrushed pictures, but it's unforgivable to put down middle aged women at the same time. Sick b*stards.

Could it be he was looking up something like that purposely on your computer so you'd find it just to be a nasty piece of crap?

And by the way, I bet the older women who were those "rusted old cars" were a hundred times more appealing than your exN and all the other jackasses that look at that garbage.

His cousin forwarded dozens of emails to him daily. About half were disgusting porn, the other half were pentecostal Christian blather (no offense meant to sincere pentecostal Christians, it's the hypocrisy that disgusts me. it's hard to take preaching seriously when it is surrounded by soul-crushing porn).

His cousin was an elderly retired man whose wife still worked as a nurse (had been supporting him for many years). She of course was also older. My exN referred to her as "controlling" but good god with a husband like that any woman would get b*tchy. So his cousin thought porn that mocked older women was hilarious and forwarded it to all the men in his family.

So glad to be out of that viper pit.

The irony in that makes me sick. I feel the same as you completely - it bothers me to no end when people are vicious, unfaithful, and miserable to those in their life, yet they think their behavior is totally absolved because they hide behind the name of God. Not only is it an outrage, but it gives a bad "image" to ALL Christians in them minds those who are ignorant or can't think outside the box.

But I could deal with people being close minded and passing judgement; it's the fact that men like your ex-husband and his cousin really believe they are holy because they walk into a church and take communion.

I'm really glad for you that you escaped. You didn't deserve dealing with people like that..

Oh his cousin was a musician on the altar, so that made him a good christian  =loser=

I'll never forget one email he forwarded that was a "left behind" type video clip that showed the "real" christians disappearing suddenly (is that what they call the "rapture"?).

I couldn't help thinking to myself, "you dick-head, I hope you realize that if this happened while you were wanking off to computer porn you would be left behind too." But I doubt it ever occured to him. Narcissists don't think that way.

Wow, he should hang out with the child molester priests who thought they were holy because they hid behind the name of God.

Yes, that's exactly what the rapture is! And wow, talk about ironic. In my opinion, God would look at him as more of sinner than someone who simply just looks at that garbage because he's not only looking at degrading porn, but using God's image as a shield to trick people. He sounds like a REAL piece of work.

And LOL! Your comment is so true, but I found it so funny at the same time. :D Too bad you couldn't tell him that to his face back then!

And I know what I you mean about N's not thinking that way. My NM is VERY religious. She prays every day and talks a lot about believing in God. I don't doubt that she does and I honestly don't think she is "putting it on" or anything like that. But the irony lies in the fact that she is such a believer in God who says right in the Bible to not commit "any ill against your neighbor" and to try to love those who have even caused you hurt, yet she crucifies my fiance and accuses him of absolutely insane things that he NEVER did all because she ASSUMES with no proof whatsoever. And in the process, she also abuses me for not giving into her. Yet, she doesn't see at all how this is wrong and against what God teaches us.

I have even tried to tell her in arguments, "Do you think ANY of what you are doing is Godly??" Her reply? "What YOU are doing is un-Godly. Ever heard of 'honor thy mother and father'??" So yeah, it's a total lost cause to make her see she is wrong. I have given up trying. I always end up being the "wrong" one anyway.
