link and icons

First, I read a post last night and then lost connection so I'm not sure which one....but very recent.  I tried looking and cannot find it.  I thought Litha had posted it?  It was to a blog where a woman wrote about N-sim and in it wrote about 'Joe'.  There were three parts.  She also referenced a book; Marie-France Hirigoyen’s book, Stalking the Soul.
Anyone have the link or the site or woman's name.  It was great!  I didn't save it in time.

Also, I have been having difficulty getting the cute little icons.  I, of course still get the butterfly, but there are question marks now instead of the faces on most of the others.  I know this isn't DIRE but what I'm trying to figure out is if there is a problem with MY computer.

I don't know why are you seeing question marks instead of icons. All the icons are working on my computer. I can ask my son, though.

First, are you using a macintosh computer? And second, what browser are you using? I like Google Chrome.

Yes, I have a macbook Pro.  My computer seems to be running slower too when loading pages.  I wonder if it is my computer....

I'm not sure how to figure which browser on the mac.  It's new as of Christmas, so still learning how to use it!  =) I'll look into Google Chrome tomorrow though.  Thanks!!!!

I left a message with my son about the emoticons. Now I can only see about 'half' of them when clicking on the [more] link. Hummm...as soon as he tells me 'why' this is happening, I'll let you know.

I hadn't even noticed this until you brought it up! When I tried to post an emoticon from the [more] list, THEN i realized what you were telling me!

Haha!  I just saw that you posted yesterday on checking with your son.  So, I'm sure I had asked you a bit too soon today... I'll wait for your response.  I've just decided to check this post after not checking for weeks!  What a coincidence....

We spoke today about the emoticons but I see he wasn't able to break away from work and fix the problem. I keep a running list for the kid and he does what he can when he has time. at least now he recognizes there's a problem but he'll have to read the code to figure out what's broken.
 
In the meantime: you can still click on the blank square and it shows up on the message when you post it. We could call it 'Grab Bag Emoticons!"

ROFL...I'm gonna click on something and see what is posted, LOLLOL!!!

LOL, I actually did that today..I was curious about what the emoticons actually were, so before writing a post, I entered all of them into the text box just to see them.

The link is broken and until my son has more time to fix it, we're stuck with blank squares!! I can't see any of the emoticons either...if that helps anybody feel better.

Okay, thanks for clearing that up. I always automatically start worrying if it's something wrong with my computer. ^_^
