Archived Threads?

I had another question for you, CBCZ, lol!

How do the archived threads work? I saw some interesting topics in the Duck Pond forum. I noticed that you post replies yourself of members within the topic. Are those just old important topics you want new members to be aware of? Or can new people still submit their replies to you, too?

These are old threads from our prior forum which we feel offer valuable information to members. Because most of the people have moved on and cannot defend their comments (LOL!), we felt it was best to 'lock' the threads.

BUT, if you are reading one of those amazing threads (and some of them truly are amazing examples of people's WISDOM and INSIGHT. I read the archives frequently myself), what you might do is copy the text you are referring to, include the title of the thread and the url (just copy it from the browser window) and start a new thread on the General Board. This would be awesome. Truly! 

As time allows, more threads will be added to the Duck Pond. A couple of us spent literally weeks protecting those threads from deletion when MSN closed groups. so i am particularly delighted that you are finding them useful!
