Chime,
Am lighting my white Good Mojo candle. What is little duck hunter's name so we can include her properly when we ask for good wishes?

Oh CHime,  didn't realize that this was your actual dog... what a happy guy, and we all know he never hurts those ducks, just exercises them a bit. I hope he is OK.

I got some ultra lazybutt cats that MIGHT get up if Rou sniffed said butts..am so glad she came of of the surgery ok and hope she will be home soon. I know you miss her. I gripe about my lazy, haughty, destructive cats but they are my babies. The were both lying all stretched out sleepin' in the sun so I went to go hassle them with the feather toy and I spied my old tarot cards. I have forgotten how to do the spread, but I snapped them long enough till they felt alive again....I might try a reading this weekend.

Thanks, Chime (every time I see or write you name, I hear a little "zing" sound in my head) for letting us know about the Duck Hunter/Whisperer....

Lots of love to Rou and you.  =msn heart=

The ducks must be scratching their heads wondering why it`s so peaceful. Glad to hear the surgery went well. Hope she will soon be home and ready to be fussed over.

Will you have to change her diet or make other adjustments in the future?

She is beautiful by the way.

the vibes have continued to work wonders
as I mentioned, she went in for what I thought was a bladder infection at 10:30
and within the hour was in for surgery...
at noon she was in post op
at 6pm I convinced them to let me take her home (I am a tech)
to which they somewhat reluctantly agreed (she had 19 bladder stones!)
this morning she is acting like "what surgery?"
amazing!   =msn sun=

Now -- I am going to hit the kitchen and bottle up all the extra collective goodwill we received, and keep it for all you wondrous souls  =msn star=
(you see - once sent out, goodness grows wings and compounds into something much larger and more powerful)  I'll be storing it in the cabinet with the bottles of esteem, and random acts of kindness, etc -- because Lord knows it can't be kept next a foaming bottle of scathing scarcasm! (Alatariel you crack me up!) Messes with the mojo.   =big grin=

here are some flowers for all of you

Awesome Furkid you have there Chime!!!

Bet the ducks will be moving a bit faster next time they join the roundup.

Keep bottling... I have noticed that LOVE just keeps on multiplying....  =msn heart= maybe we need to put out our collective thoughts together to combat the N's in the world?????

Thinking on this a bit....

Will you have to change her diet or make other adjustments in the future?

She is beautiful by the way.

Thanks Jenny!
Rou treats her ducks with dignity and respect (thank goodness -- because, they're easy to break -- and expensive to replace at trials if you do break one  =so sad= )
as I mentioned somewhere before in one of the vast rooms of the castle, ducks are much more noble creatures than Cluster Bs... however, the analogy of her as my duck hunter feels somewhat comfortable, because both ducks and Cluster Bs do need to be watched, kept in line -- or backed away from when that's not possible.  =chicken dance=
And thanks for saying she's beautiful... I do gush when people say so, 'cause I think she's just got the among the most amazing sentient soul.  Some day, maybe in my journal, I'll write more about this little dog... but she has actually been in situations where she's shown she would put her life on the line for me and also the girls.  Once she put herself between me and a really rammy sheep that was head-down & full speed! at me.  If she hadn't, I was in for something broken, likely my knees.  And then there were instances where she (or her dad, who has since passed rip dude) got between me and a raging disappearing dad, and he thought more than twice and changed his tact.
Good dog Rou - Good dog!
We will have to alter her diet.  We're waiting on the chemical make up of the stones before we know exactly what to do.  In the meantime, because she's on lots of pain killers and anti-biotics, she is just on a plain home cooked chicken and rice diet, with pro biotics to help her gut.
I am anxious to know about the analysis, because she is one of an entire family of my aussies, and the only one who's had this...  so if there is a genetic basis I need to understand all that I can.  The conjecture is it's related to meds she has been on.  (wish I knew about that before...)
anyway...
sorry for the long way to saying:
thank you Jenny
and yes, we'll be thinking about diet...
 =rolling eyes=

I can go on and on about dogs, so if you WANT more I'm game!
and if you don't, tell me  =stop sign=   =big grin=
I just cain't help m'self!!

Incredible! 19 stones.....and back home like nothing happened.

Really pleased to hear she is so resilient. And also impressed at the protection she and her kin have afforded you and your girls. She is clearly loyal and loving...and feel free to talk of such an intuitive and gorgeous creature for as long as you want. I adore dogs with intelligent attentive eyes. The kind who are desperate to know your every thought and impress you, asking in return only for your love and care.

It is lovely to hear of the innocent devotion of a dog in amongst the vile turn-coat manipulativeness of Ns. I feel very much like I have been the eager dog trying to judge what would please BigBird! Sure as heck didn`t work.

Makes perfect sense to analyse the stones and see if diet changes can be made accordingly. Then you will know she will be much safer in future.

ok, I'll blow out the candle. It's almost gone and time for a new one. I but them at the bodega, but I think if you have any hispanics/latinos in your neighborhood, you can buy them at Wallyworld. They're with all the saint prayer candles and the lucky seven candles..I just buy the plain white unscented ones. This is creepy maybe but I let them sit outside under the Moon before I burn them. I find the moon to be a very big part of my life. I like to see it every night and see what she is doing. I feel like there is a woman in the moon sometimes...I think of all the women over the centuries that have looked at her. I am much more a night creature than a day creature. A sky creature rather than a land creature, I think.
think of them sorta like milagros. In some churches, you can buy little silver charms that come in the shape of a body part or even in the shape of an animal sometimes....and people take the charms and have them blessed by a priest and then they sew the charms like to a petticoat, and when they see it or hear it clinking, they say a little prayer for whoever's heart or foot or whatever charm they have. It reminds them to say a prayer.

Then after their prayer has hopefully been answered, the cut the milagros off their clothig and sometimes they sew them onto a little pillow or onto a little wreath and they take them back to the church and put them with whoever it is they pray to. Apparently they have different saints for different requests. Sometimes in little churches in new Mexico, you'll see a saint that has a whole wall of different kinds of milagros tacked on the wall behind them in all kinds of designs....Milagros means miracles, I think.  Some people say they mean answered prayers. I think it depends on local culture.

I think candles are like that and like prayer wheels....or mojo wheels. I hate to use the word prayer because some people think that indicates some religious persuasion....I just ask for good vibes to come from the Universe to a particular thing or event when I light the candle. Then as long as it burns, I hope it is helping to pass the vibe along and when I see it, it reminds me to ask again for good.

Anyway, I'm glad your faithful Rue is good and back in top form. Animals.......so pure in their own way. They just want to play and sleep and eat and love and be loved.

xoxo, Legs
